1、Characteristic
a. Easy cutting:
Tellurium (0.4%~0.7%) forms brittle telluride copper particles, making the plate easier to turn, drill and mill, with high surface finish and long tool life.
b. Electrical conductivity/thermal conductivity:
Electrical conductivity ≥90% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard), close to pure copper, but the processing performance is significantly better than pure copper plate.
c. Mechanical properties:
Tensile strength: 200~300 MPa (depending on the state: soft, hard or semi-hard)
Elongation: 15%~30% (soft state is better)
Hardness: HRB 40~80 (can be adjusted by cold working).
d. Corrosion resistance:
Resistant to atmospheric, water and non-oxidizing acid corrosion, but avoid environments such as sulfides and ammonia.
